Bachelor of Liberal Arts in English Literature GPA: 3.155 June, 2012
Sigma Tau Delta: English Honors Society. Inducted in 2010, participated in fundraisers and service for the campus community from 2010-2012.
Rall Symposium: Selected to participate in a panel at Rall Symposium in 2012 presenting a researched paper about archetypal plots in nineteenth-century dime novels. The paper analyzed the symbiotic relationship between the “Cinderella” plot in working girl novels and the plights of real-life factory workers.
Master of Liberal Arts in Writing, Editing and Publishing GPA: 3.327 September, 2015
Master’s Thesis (ongoing): Investigates the chronology of the “Disney Princesses” as compared to the evolution of American society’s value of women throughout the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. I attest that the plots and personalities of the princesses mirror that of the average American women at the time of animation.
